Serving Our Nation
At the age of 17, Rich made the decision to serve our Nation by early enlisting in the United States Air Force. During his active duty tenure, Rich deployed to the frontlines for Military Operations such as: Desert Shield, Desert Storm, Provide Comfort, Joint Task Force-Southwest Asia, and other national-level military operations. He is also a distinguished veteran of the United States Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) where he served as a Special Agent focusing on cyber crimes, illegal drugs, counterintelligence, counterterrorism, and before leaving the military he was a counterespionage case officer. After a decorated active duty career, Rich volunteered for reserve duty and focused on cybersecurity, intelligence analysis, and anti-tamper solutions for critical technologies.

After 20 total years of military service, Rich was honorably discharged and returned back to his home state. He has held various leadership positions in small, medium, and large companies. Previously, he was a Vice President in a medium-sized company where he is responsible for business development, growth, and the creation of new jobs. Today, Rich co- owns a small cybersecurity firm that he operates out of his home in Spotsylvania and provides services to Federal agencies and private companies.
